Default Stop data connection?

Hello;

I recently changed my Tmo plan and removed the BB part of it so that I now have no data access (multiple reasons for this).

However, I used to have the phone check/retrieve my email, and I did not have time to turn that off before they cut off my data access. The result is that my phone keeps on trying to get data and I constantly have the "Data connection refused" on my screen...

This is not a huge problem, but I was wondering if there's a way to disable all data related functions in the phone, so that it does not try to check mail all the time...I was thinking of removing the service books, but I am not sure of which ones to remove...

Thanks for any help!
Eric.
