Does anyone know if there is a way to transfer mp3's to the 8700 through the USB cable? I've tried pretty much everything, do i need to download special software or something? I'm using the 8700r, and i'm just stumped.

You can not transfer MP3 files to the BlackBerry via a USB cable. I think you can host them on a webserver and access them from the BlackBerry web browser.

Remember, please try searching first!

Need a screenshot? ... Like JavaLoader?
Try using BBscreen .....Use JL_Cmder!
or BBScreenShooter!

Yea, The blackberry will not be recognized as a USB storage device (like most MP3 players/HD's etc etc) Its recognized as a modem, and a PDA without an expansion card. With the blackberry software, anything that isnt a Contact, Calander entry, Memo Pad, or Task, is considered an Installed program (That includes Themes, Ringtones, MP3's, 3rd party apps, etc) So yea, In a nutshell, you DO have to install from the browser on the 8700.
