Angry attachment issues

Please Login to Remove!

I found a couple of wallpaper posts in this forum, Jack on Black was one of them, the bouncing red ball on black, the other. Sent both images to my email (yahoo.com).
On my PC, the images are accessible. On the BB, the text is there, but no access to the images. Cannot highlight the," attachment" text. Tried to reload images by clicking ALL IMAGES . BB times out with error 47. Any answers?? Please help

I had the same problem because I was on a BES. I used gmail and accessed it through the BB explorer. The attachement showed up there, but not on any other email systems that I was using.

Try browsing to the images on your blackberry and save the images from your browser. You would then find the images in your picture app and you can set them as wallpaper from there.

I'm having the same issues. I'm using 7130, BES on Verizon. I cannot email images as attachments to my BB. I receive the email on the BB but it does not have a paper clip and there is no "Open Attachment" item in the message's menu. However, the body of the email shows that it knows the message has an attachment.

Other attachments work fine (Excel, Word, TXT files) and make it to the BB and can be viewed there.

Is there software I need or my company's redirector needs to be able to email an image attachment? Other posts in these forums indicate it has been done.

A short update on my 7130/Verizon/BES configuration. Saving images DOES WORK through the BB browser. So I was able to send attached images to my gmail account, navigate there from the hand-held, then view and save the images to my hand-held. Yay.

Still-why can't I email images as attachments directly to the handheld? It seems like this should work and other post-ers imply that it does. Does anyone know?

My BES does the same thing (Telus Network but corporate BES). It will recognise all attachements except .jpg. Gmail works the best to get around it, but I can't do anything with ringtones.
