Default Wal Mart MP3's...

Please Login to Remove!

Ok so my co-worker pointed out that you can get free ringtones from Walmart.com simply by searching for an artest in the hompage section, right click on the song and copy and paist the mp3 url into an email and email it to your phone, then it asks you to save it.. So, she has been doing this for some time and it works on every phone she has, but I tryed it on my black berry.. It will load the and save the song, but nothing will play.. Anyone smarter than me help me figure out why? Maybe its just how i'm doin it..

You have to have OS 4.1 and I don't think the BB will accept Stereo MP3s you may have to manipulate them in an sound editor and save as mono before sending them to your BB.

Hope this helps.

well, I tried. I forgot for a moment what forum I was on or I wouldn't have mentioned the OS problem. You can find more details on what you need to do by searching on the Ringtones, Themes, and Wallpapers Forum, which is where I originally thought it was posted.

Again
Hope this helps.

My friend does this too with his phone all the time. I tried it with my 8700c and it wouldn't work. But I finally figured out how to make my own, which I would rather do anyways.
