Question Please Help me get an Mp3 on my BB 7250 *Newby*

Please Login to Remove!

WHat is the simplest way to get an Mp3 onto my BB 7250. I tried attaching it to an e-mail but I could not figure out how to download it. Secondly if Mp3 format is not supported, what are the supported formats? I play in a christian rock band and I like to have one of our songs as my ringer. I have only had the phone for 3 days now so I am a complete Newby.

Wirelessly posted (7250/4.0.0.204: BlackBerry7250/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/109)

With the 7250 you can download monophonic midi files from Websites using the built-in BlackBerry browser. You won't have much luck getting anything that sounds very musical.

Not to hijack a thread, but it is related. I too have a 7250 and very few ringtones though it is not a priority for me. I saw at someones site here one I liked a lot it is called Notify alarm but it is is MP3 format and obviously I cant use it. So I have two questions, 1) can anyone convert it from mp3 to a polyphonic midi I can use on the 7250, or 2) short of that or having the time to do it, can someone suggest a free software that I could use, I have tried a few software trials from the net and either they only save the first 6 secs or do not save it, Any help will be appreciated inmensely by me and others I am sure. If someone can do it I can send the file since it says it is too large to attach here.

Are you able to play polyphonics on your 7250? Mine reduces everything down to single tones ...

All this technology and we cant even get Mp3's. Just as well i suppose. Otherwise you'd have a 4 star general sitting in the war room with his BB ringing to the tune of Laffy Taffy

is it possible to send midi's from PC?

Or do they need to be downloaded straight from the BB?
