Default No roaming triangle?

I know I don't need it, but I've always liked roaming triangles, and the 8700 doesn't seem to have one. I put my Vodafone SIM in last night to wear out the battery while I went to the club, and no triangle appeared like it did on my 7105 with the same SIM.

Does the 8700 really not have a roaming triangle?

The Cingular "Getting Started Guide" shows one.

Hope this helps.

hrm.

Nothing is Cingular about my device except for the case and the startup screen though, so maybe that makes a difference.
