Default Can we use storage cards?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi All...

I am pretty much getting an 8700c as soon as I can get my money together.

I am looking at the programs available and had a question.

Does the 8700c allow for expansion cards? If so, what kinds?

If not, how come? Ha.

No, nor does it have a Camera. If you require both, get a Treo. The BlackBerry is built on security hence it's wide use in the Military, GOV and corporate environments. Don't expect this to change anytime soon...

Thanks.

I don't want a camera. I definitely don't want a Treo.

I was just asking because I would like to track down a bible that I could possibly install.

Don't expect it to change. Thank You.

While you probably do not have the room for a Bible - you would get into reader problems. Use the BB to the fullest - there are many Bibles on the web -- link to one of them and read it there whenever you want.

Assuming an unlimited data plan, of course....

There are at least 2 Bible apps out there that will fit in your 8700c. There is enough room for the whole Bible to be in there. I am using eBookBible (which is from Laridian, makers of MyBible software available for Palm, PPC and Symbian) www.laridian.com
An alternative (free) Bible is the one from the makers of Olivetree (www.olivetree.com). I personally like the one from Laridian.
