I am trying to remove Google local that was downloaded to my 7130e, however it doesn't show up in the desktop software to remove. How do I get this app removed?

I am looking for a remedy to the same problem. I have two apps that I tried to remove using the Blackberry options / applications. They were removed from the list of installed apps. But they remain. Ironically, one of the apps is the same one the gentleman above mentions; Google Local

I posted my question on another forum and received no response. If someone would kindly give me a nudge in the right direction, I am an IT professional and can figure the rest out on my own. In fact, I'm happy to post the solution here.

If wiping the phone is the only alternative, please say so.

I figured it out. You have to go under Options, Advanced Options, Applications, click on one of the apps and select Modules, then find the module and remove the associated application. Once I removed the google local module the application icon disappears from your screen. Give it a try.
