Default 7100i - Temporarily suspend receiving email?

Please Login to Remove!

The device is not available in Canada (yet -- hopefully this week) but I was wondering if there is a way to temporarily suspend receiving email so that only the PTT and phone functionality are available (on the device itself).

Say you are receiving a large volume of email due to serious problem that is causing automated notification systems to flood you with email, it would be really nice to suspend email services so that you can use the PTT and/or phone without hindering service.

Are you using BES or BIS? If you are on BES, go to Messages > Options > Email Settings > Send Email To Handheld > Set to No. If you are using BIS, you can delete you service book.

Remember, please try searching first!

Need a screenshot? ... Like JavaLoader?
Try using BBscreen .....Use JL_Cmder!
or BBScreenShooter!
