Default eWord Problems on 8700c?

Please Login to Remove!

I loaded the trial versions of eFile, eWorks and eWord. The eWord screen comes up and I can even type on it. However, if I try to save it or do anything else it hangs. I just get the hour glass spinning and spinning. I've reloaded it several times and the same things always happens. Can anyone offer any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

Exactly the same thing happened to me. I downloaded the trial version. I tried to save and it hung. I had to reset.

What did you do about it? Delete it? I called their cs; not much help.

You cannot save a document with the demo version of eword.

Default Is it buggy

Thanks. Is the paid version buggy or OK? Do you work for Dynoplex?

You save things to their server which has been a slow process for me. I have had a lot of problems with pdf files also. Their CS has helped, but often has been surly. For my $200 purchase, I don't expect perfection, but I don't expect attitude either. I'd return it if I could.

Once you have loaded eWord on the device for the first time, it automatically gives you a free 7 day trial. During this trial, it is a fully functional version and can save both locally and on the network.

Richardd, gadgetman - we would love to troubleshoot the issue you have encountered. If you're still interested - please PM me, or send an e-mail to support. If you have a support ticket number from us - let me know as well. Free copy of eWord for any one of you if it turns out a bug that we can fix!
