Default 7230 - 4.1 - connects, won't sync

I upgraded a user's 7230 to 4.1 today. The desktop manager was upped to 4 at the same time. The handheld software install finished successfully and Activation completed successfully. I turned the wireless back on and the unit grabbed a GPRS signal fine. I've rebooted the laptop, and the unit.

The problem: When I connect the unit while desktop manager is running Desktop Manager detects the handheld and shows "Working" in the bottom task bar of the Desktop Manager. On the handheld the traditional "Connected to Desktop" screen shows, but there are no arrows flashing and on the desktop the Intellisync Progress window never appears. I've left it for over 15 minutes with no change.

I've done over 50 upgrades identical to this one wihout seeing this problem. any thoughts?

Appreciated,

Mark
