Default Berry 411 - changing stock plugin for a different stock?

Please Login to Remove!

I downloaded berry 411, added the stock plugin, however it always opens to IBM, how the heck do I change that?

Default Type goog in the search field

and select the plugin stocks, and it should open the browser. Down 18.52 as I write this.

okay maybe it'd be better if I explained what we're looking for, we've got a VP who is NOT savvy as far as the blackberry goes, we want to give him a unit, set the stock default so he either a) opens the program, it shows the various stocks we pre-set or b) he opens the program (similar to berry 411) and selects the different stock's to view.

preferably a freebie app like this would work good, but if we have to pay that might be a consideration.

I saw the other post about stocks (somewhere on the 2nd page) and there were a few that users reccomended that are pay (monthly and yearly), do they have trials and would they even offer something like this that we're looking for?

I've got this in the plugins section

1.stocks%sGOOG
2.
3.
and so on are empty to 9.

I save, goto main 411 screen, click wheel, I see stocks%sGOOG, select it and it sits there accessing data, i have 3 bars, says its requesting, but nothing comes up, no browser, no error, nothing.

i tried stocks %s GOOG, it tells me invalid plugin.

am I missing something?

okay here's what I've tried

stocks%s goog
stocks %s goog
stocks %sgoog

no dice, any ideas?

okay im lost, anyone got anymore ideas? Am I putting something in wrong for the search criteria? it still always comes up with IBM

I've tried all of the above and no luck, and their support forums aren't the greatest, and the help page for the plugins tells me nothing that I already dont know.

Default Only do this

Put stocks in the plugin field.

Close the plug in.

In the search field, put the stock name only.

okay, so now it tells me that the stock isn't valid, but it is, I can search yahoo and find it, but when I do the search through 411 it tells me not a valid stock symbol (this is for the company stock).

Any ideas there?

edit: Stock link via yahoo
but the symbol isn't valid when searched via 411.

Default What's the symbol

Not all are found. Not sure what database is used. I think its something Google related.

Try sea.u. Won't find it but its on AMex.
