I'm new so please bear with me. I recently got an 8700r and each time I sync my contacts using the cable I get a message asking me if I want to sync 30 odd contacts, Yes, Skip, re-sync, cancel.

I am thinking these are contacts that were on my sim card that I moved from my cell phone but when click yes, it seems to sync it but each time I connect the cable, I get the same message.

Help?

OK - let's all take a deep breath and NOT respond to everything with "search".

Is this a used BB? If so, it is possible that the previous owner left their contacts on it. To wipe it out, go to Options / Security Options / General Settings and click the wheel. Select Wipe Handheld and follow the prompts. This will wipe out all prior customer data.

Then you should be able to sync your BB with Outlook or whatever PIM you'd like to.
