Default Fixing My Number: Unknown

I've looked through the forums, but can't seem to find this answered anywhere. I have a new 7100t from T-Mobile. When I choose "Phone" on the main menu I get the screen with the numbers that I've called and that I've received. Right at the top below the date it says "My Number: Unknown". Clearly phone knows it's number, after all it answers calls. Does anyone know how I can set my number to appear on this screen? Thanks.

I am not sure if this will work for you ...

Try to go to settings and then select SIM card

Your SIM card number will appear as should your cellphone number.

If your number there is listed as unknown highlight it and select change number after pushing the trackwheel in.

Enter your number

Save changes and then see if the number is there.

If the number is there already (prior to the above) I am not sure what to do.

Let me know if it doesn't work and I will mess around with my 7100t and see if I find an answer for you.

Perhaps they should set up an auto-responder to posts on here asking everyone to politely search before posting?

I did a search, but I only searched General Charm Discussion since I figured it was a 7100 issue. I appologize for not making a wider search and for bothering everyone.

Default Unknown Number

I had a similar problem. Call Tmobile and they will send a script to your sim card. Worked like a charm.
