Question Sync BB and PPC on same PC

Please Login to Remove!

I searched for an answer for this question but I couldn't find it, so here goes.

I presently have a Dell Axim x50v that I sync with Outlook 2003. The PC is running WinXP Home. I am planning on getting a VZW 7130e when my renewal date comes up.

The question: Can I sync both the PPC and the BB 7130e on the same machine with the same data?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Going back aways, I was able to sync an older BB and an iPaq from the same machine. I do know that others have had all sorts of USB port conflicts when trying to have two PDAs on one PC.

Here's the best response I can come up with: "It should work". But then again....

Good luck - only one way to find out, I guess

Default I don't see what the problem would be....

I have a 7100t, and my wife has a PPC4100. We don't have an issue.
Then again, we have two different profiles for outlook. I personally don't see it as an issue, just a hassle. If you update your info on your PDA, you'll have to sync it using AcitveSync, and then sync your berry using desktop manager, and vice versa. So, it would take two syncs everytime to synchronize all of your stuff.

There is another option as well. If you have a laptop with IR, which most do these days, I think there is an option in there for instant (realtime) synchronization for AXIM. if this is the case, then you let the AXIM do it's thing, and you only have to worry about syncing your berry.

I have a BB7100g, a Treo 600, and a PPC4150. Sync all 3 on a regular basis w/same Outlook profile - no problem. Would suggest though that you don't try to sync 2 at the same time. Do one, disconnect, do the other. It should work just fine.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry7100/4.0.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1)

I sync 7100t and Axim X5 together on same machine, same profille, and sometimes at same time. No problems yet.
