Default The Vaja 8700 cases are available now

Please Login to Remove!

Thanks to DocGo for pointing this out......

Vaja now has two cases available for order for the 8700 series Blackberry.

One is a flip cover case....

And the other seems to be their Ivolution style.

Each case is available in a multitude of colors and personalization (clip, no clip, name etc.) They actually have two different belt clip options.

Those of you familar with Vaja know they make one of the best cases around. But they don't make them cheap.

I couldn't decide which color to get so I ordered two of the Ivolution style. The nice thing, for me, is it's like the Fortee and Krusell form fitting cases but this one has protection for the screen!

Now to wait the 40 days for them to be made. :(

YAY!

I have been waiting for them to release these. I am so excited. I wish they were making a bit of a hard case ivolution like they did the treo, but I will accept this one.

Vaja is absolutely awesome. But you are right, it does come with a price

I've never bought a Vaja product. Does anyone know if a personalized name will show up on a black case? The example they show online is a light case with a dark laser-engraved name. Perhaps they rub some white pigment into the etched name on darker cases? If anyone has a dark colored, personalized Vaja case please let me know how it looks.

Thanks,
Brian

Awsome...I emailed them about a month ago...they sent an email to me today saying they just released them.... I ordered the Krussel about a week ago....I guess I'm gonna be a case addict now...

If Vaja comes out with the ivolution, I think I would rather have that than the ones they just released, but they do look nice!

Ugh.... pcs-ltd.com did have them, now it's a pre-order hold... 13 Feb which is Monday.

Now the debate in my head now is, wait another 40 days for a Vaja and cancel my order...and use the holster for another month.

I do have the full body protector from invisibleshield which seems to protect me pretty good now, but I really want a nice leather case to put in my pocket...

I just ordered the open-faced Vaja case...Vitelino Passion Case with the rivet clip system. Now, the 40-day wait will be so excruciatingly slow.

Heh, I am just like you...I just don't buy 2-3 of the same brand at a time.

This is the first time I've ever done that.

Has anyone take delivery of their Vaja cases yet? I would like some personal feedback on how they feel. Also, trying to decide on Aniline or Vitelino. Vitelino looks nicer but they say it's more delicate...would that mean that it will start lookin used and damaged sooner?

Any comments please!

Thanks.

I personally like the Vitelino. I have a Vaja Vitelino case for my ipod Video - the case is awesome. The leather is shiny and extremely well crafted.

I'm seriously thinking about getting another vaja case, but am not that impressed with the colors offered! Why couldn't they offer a greyish/silver one that matches the color of the 8700 case? I'm leaning toward the black one, as it seems to be the only one that really matches?

My experience with vaja cases has convinced me to avoid light colors. The dye is easily rubbed off when cleaning, revealing an entirely different under color. YMMV.

Oh yeah. I forgot about that.

I hope to be tonight after I win the 300 million dollar Power Ball drawing.

I would pick the Vitelino, it is "delicate" yes, but that is when it comes to throwing it around, being a cherished blackberry will be placed in it, I am pretty sure you will not be throwing it around

The great thing about the vitelino leather is that the oils of your fingers are going to soften the leather more an more, and give it a beautiful unique look. I got Vitelino with pretty much all my gadgets. Right now I have my year and a half old Vitelino case on my ipod, and it looks great still.

The light colors are not too bad, I have come to realize that they wipe clean easily with water or leather cleaner.

But going with a dark color is not exactly a bad choice if you worry about it getting dingy.
