Default Bluetooth two devices

I'm hoping someone can help me out with this,

I'm trying to link my RAZR phone with my 8700 via Bluetooth.

The units' link together then about about 20 seconds, I get a message on the 8700 saying the link was lost.

Any idea if this is even possible?

Not possible and I doubt this ever be will possible due to security issues. I think my company would probably drop them in a second.
Sounds like it's taking 20 seconds to figure out it's linjed to a phone and drops it like a hot cake pan. I'm kinda surprised it takes that long.

Hope this helps.

Not possible.

The 8700 BT is there for wireless headsets, a few BT keyboards and connecting to a subset of Windows XP based machines with some specific BT chipsets - for syncing only.

Lots of information in the Bluetooth Connection forum.

Same with the 7290, no OBEX because of security as stated by rcbjr
