Default help w/ AIM on 8700c

my very first post. hi.
trying to use aim http://aolmobile.aol.com/portal/mobileaim.do but get a msg to change java and cookies settings. i have 2 browsers: one "internet" and one "cingular." i cant even get to the above site on the cingular browser so i only get the error msg on the "internet" one. how do i change these settings?
help?

why not download RambleIM and use it? its free.

I am using Ramble also, but I heard you may be charged when using this from Cingular. I haven't received my first bill, so not sure.
