Default BB 7290 to Windows Mobile to BB 8700

After owning a 7290, and loving it, I thought I might try out the Windows mobile devices......one thing I loved about it was the ability to 'fully sync' with Outlook, and in this case the advantage was being able to have a copy of my last month of email on the device, so I can refer back to pat emails (without have to the desktop) if need be.

As far as I can remember and tell about the 8700, there is no provision/feature for this. Is this correct, or have I missed something here?

Sure having instant email in a reliable device is fantastic and the main reason for me wanting to come back to blackberry, but the omission of this feature, which I am now used to and use frequently could be a major deterent.

What are your thoughts?

The BlackBerry does not sync e-mail. It never has. E-Mails are forwarded and reconciled wirelessly as they are sent it. You can not load historical (old) e-mails onto the BB.

Sounds like the 8700 (and BlackBerry) may not do it for you.

Sorry...

How about sent email? Are they sent to the 'sent folder' on my desktop?
