I am with verizon and a co worker of mine sent me a picture from his camera phone and it didnt show up on mine, it said i had to goto the website to view it. Is there anyone for the picture to be displayed without going to the site?

With 4.1 software supposedly you can view an MMS message, if you don't have a BES you probably won't be able to view any attachments.

We have BES, I just havent got setup on it yet since I just got my phone. But I guess I will have to wait on Verizon to come out with a 4.1 upgrade for me to use MMS.

Ok, i have upgraded to 4.1 and I still cannot view pictures sent directly to me. Is there a setting or anything that needs to be done. My co worker is on the BES and he cannot even view pictures or attachments. Before upgrading to 4.1 in the pictures folder there were none and now i have pictures in there.

What happens when you click on the picture and say Open?

BTW I am on Verizon also with a 7250 and I have been able to view pictures from the get go out of the box, I then upgraded to 4.02 and finally to 4.1 and have continued to view pictures always.

when i receive an email with an attachment all it says is attachment but i have no way to open it. the rest of the message is still there.

7250/Verizon - All Ditto with what Kontiki said....never had a issue if pictures were sent directly to me. The only time I cant open a attachment is when its been forwarded. BTW, I'm only through BIS...never been thru BES.

When someone has sent a picture directly to you, while in the message itself, you will see that there is a attachment. SCROLL CLICK - then in that menu should be "Open attachment"

are you and Kontiki talking about pictures that come as an attachment in an email? I have always been able to do that with my 7250, its the MMS that I cannot open directly from my phone.

ok, i am referring to an email attachment. i just found out that if i send an attachment to my BIS account that attachment shows up just fine. If i send it to my other email account which is redirected the attachment does not show up.

is there a setting in Outlook 2003 to leave the attachment on when forwarding because that is the problem?

Just to clarify: The original poster is referring to a picture sent via MMS--not an email attachment.

I had an MMS sent to me today on my 7250 with 4.1, and all I could see was some formatting characters...I could not open an image.
