EMS on Verizon 7130e?

I've seen some conflicting information as to whether the 7130e through Verizon handles extended TXT messaging. Can you create these messages with this handset and if so, is there some process to activate?

Do you mean a text message longer than a 160 characters. I also can't figure this out.
