I am still looking for a case for my 8700 and although I am looking more at the pouch from tuff as nuts I am looking at the gizmoskin pouch. From reading the threads here I heard the first batch was defective or poorly made and people recieved replacements. I've heard mixed reviews since then and curious if anyone here has purchased one lately and if so how's the build quality? Is it still falling apart easily or have they corrected that issue? I've reverted to the plastic holster now to sleep my 8700 as my leather 7290 pouch won't.

Lots of choices there. Thank you for the review link. I also like the Krussel vertical pouch. I am drawn to the Gizmoskin however because of the soft leather look but we'll see what happens. Maybe I should do what others on here have done and buy a whole bunch lol.

The Krusell is a universal stlye case so it does not have a sleeper magnet built in.

If that's something that's important to you I'd avoid it. I love Krusell cases personally. I think overall they make the best cases/clips out there.

If the case you like doesn't have a magnet, just by one! I have three cases that came with no magnet and I went to http://www.kjmagnetics.com/proddetai...od=D701&cat=10
and bought 25 of them for .30 each. tape them in or super glue them in behind a piece of felt or any material that won't scratch your BB.

I have the third version of the case and it has been holding up just fine. I have had it now for a full month and have not had 1 issue with it.
