Default 7105t t-mobile e-mail error

Please Login to Remove!

I just got my new 7105t and SIM. I had my 7100t info sent to the phone--same number, e-mail, all that jazz. Anyways, after restoring my old files and address book, downloading os 4.0.2 and some new themes, my e-mail wouldn't work. I receive e-mails on all accounts just fine, but when trying to send out e-mails, I get the error message under message status: UNABLE TO LOOK UP THE USER INFO IN DATABASE.

I called t-mobile, and they deleted and re-activated my accounts. However, I still can't send emails.

Any suggestions?

I know there are some settings that you can do through T-Mobile's web site...

Go to www.t-mobile.com
Enter mobile number and password

On your main page, under the section "COMMUNICATION TOOLS & DOWNLOADS"
you will see a link called "Blackberry Internet Email"
Click on that, there are a few options that you can do from there for setup...

This won't help you if you have a Blackberry Enterprise

HTH

I had the EXACT same issue when upgrading to my 7105 and to the new 4.1 os.

The resolution I found is to make sure I send each email using my [email address] account. For example, compose a new email and you will see a "SEND USING" field above the "TO" field. Change this from [DEFAULT] or [WEB CLIENT] to the choice that shows your tmo.blackberry.net account.

If this works, you can change your default selection to the tmo.blackberry.net account by going to SETTINGS, and then MESSAGE SERVICES. Change the Messaging account to your tmo.blackberry.net account there.

Let me know if this makes sense and fixes your issues. Also, does anyone know why the emails don't send properly when WEB CLIENT is used as the SEND USING?

Default Tmobile Email error,

Just got off the phone with tmobile. They said they were doing maintenance on the blackberry service? WTF? no notice, no nothing, just shut off the life's blood of all the people who's jobs depend on getting thier email. What a bunch of BS! They didn't even offer any kind of compensation credit.

Just letting every one know i'm in cali, they said it was nation wide.

oops, wrong thread. Sorry
