I am using a T-Mobile 8700t on a BES, although i had the same problems with my 7290 that I have just upgraded from.

The two problems I have are as follows and any help would be appreciated.

Whenever I reply to a meeting request the reply always fails to go and shows message status "unlisted message error". The only way I can respond to meeting requests is from my desktop in the office.

Whenever I add an appointment to my diary on the BB after a short delay a second duplicate appointment is added to my BB diary, but not my Outlook. I have to manually delete one of these appointments then.

Any ideas for a fix?

Sounds like a problem with the cdo.dll file.

The CDO.DLL file needs to be the same version on BES aswell as on Exchange.

We had this problem a while back and the BES Hotfix resolved it.

Try deleting the CICAL service book. It will be resent to your device and it may resolve the issue.

I'm having the same issue here too. If I resend the acceptance 5 or 6 times it eventually goes through. I'll try deleting that and see what happens.

Hmmm, it didn't resend the service book. I rebooted it too.
EDIT: It finally came across...Keeping my fingers crossed it works.

Well, that didn't fix it. Any other ideas?

New update: I just realized that even though I get the red x, it's still adding the event to the calendar.

EDIT: I can send and receive emails just fine.

Has anyone come across any possible fixes for this yet?

Hi, i've never used the BES. I'm currently on BIS, and noticed that if any meeting request sent from outlook i get an error on my bberry email prompting "unrecognize file type"

Is there anyway, i could be able to initiate meetings as well as accept meeting with using only BIS ?

Same here. I looged a call at O2 for this calendar sync issue.
I will keep you posted about the progress.

We are using 2 BES 4.1 servers. All cdo.dll are on the same version as they are on our Exchange servers.
If the affected users accept an appointment, it is listed with a red cross but the appointment show "Accepted"

Well, I got my problem fixed. I was sure that my cdo.dll were the same version, but I must have done an update or something and caused it to change so they infact weren't the same. I got BES cdo updated to match my Exchange server, and no more problems.
