Hey Gang,

Is anyone getting complaints from their BB 7105T users about how they sound on the phone? They are getting complaints from their customers that they sound horrible when on the phone?

I have 50% of my users that say they have to almost whisper on the phone for there not to be interference or a "wind-tunnel" effect in the back ground?

If so, is there a setting I can change? I set the volume to 100% by default.

Any help you can provide would be great!

i have had the exact same problem, happens mostly to users who also have the 7105t. if i am talking from my 7105t to a land line, they typically say it sounds too loud, but not unbearable. whether it is my imagination or not, since i upgraded our two 7105t's to the Hong Kong CSL 4.1 OS, the problem is not as bad. I talked to a tmo rep about the issue, he said i sounded fine and that there was no problem - guess i'm crazy ;)

anyhow, i'm anxiously awaiting the official tmo 4.1 release for the 7105t to see if they fixed it or at least give an option for adjusting the mic sensitivity.

So, if you haven't already, you may want to upgrade to the HK CSL 4.1; or wait.
