Default What is Purged Messages?

Please Login to Remove!

Sorry guys if this is a stupid q, but everytime i performe a backup and restore, there's a database called "purged Messages".
What does this refer to?
i mean i checked my folders in the bb(trash, etc) and they are empty but the purged messages database shows 600 or so

I'll take a stab at it and I could be wrong as I have noticed this too.

(I'm on BIS)

I think that when you delete an email off of the BB, and then wirelessly reconcile it, it moves the message to your deleted items folder on the webclient. That's all good. If you go to Messages --- Wheel Click ---Options----Email Reconciliation --- Wheel Click you will see an option to purge deleted items. I usually do this once a week or so.
