I just set up my 8700C with my Parrot CK3100. I am now experiencing some problems I never had with my 7290.

1. 1-2 second buzzing noise when I hang up from "red" button on 8700 and sometimes from hang up on Parrot control.

2. When syncing phone book, it resyncs everytime and I lose my voice dialing set up in the Parrot.

3. Contacts with multiple numbers get stored in Parrot as seperate entries, i.e. John Doe - Mobile, John Doe - Work, so that I would need two voice entries.

Has anyone had any similar issues and possible remedies?

Yes, I get all 3 of these with my CK3100. I think number 1 and number 3 are "features", i.e. expected behavior. That buzzing noise under number 1 I believe is just an "alarm" to let you know that you've disconnected.

As for number 2, do you lose all your voice dialing? I only lose some of them. I haven't experimented enough to know what's going on. It looks like
the voice dialing in the first 1/3 of the alphabet is saved, everything else is lost.

You might want to try to post under the Bluetooth portion of blackberry forums, or send a letter to customer support at parrot. (they are at www.parrot.biz).

Thanks. I am trying some things on my end and I think my solution to the phone book will be to disable phone book syncing and copy my contacts from my PC to the Parrot like I did with the 7290.

As for the buzzing, this can't be a feature of any kind. To me it sounds like the Parrot hasn't figured out that the call has ended and just sends garbage to the speakers. Plus, I find that the problem is intermittent. I wish I could use the escape key to hang up the phone like the 7290 as I think this could also be part of the issue.
