Default unhappy 4.1 update on 7105

Please Login to Remove!

I just updated to 4.1 on my 7105. The phone is functional, however there's alot of minor issues that I'd like to easily resolve. First, all my extra themes have disappeared, second all my alerts and profiles have been changed, third I now have a BES icon on the home screen (BIS user here) and an extra unneeded mailbox.

Any suggestions on an easy fix?

I used the Hong Kong CSL software from the Blackberry site.

Are you asking how to fix these issues? Just download the themes again and change your profiles and hide the BES icon. When you upgrade the OS, everything gets wiped. Shouldn't be a surprise to you.

alright, I gave up on my old themes and just tried downloading new themes. I used the OTA option to download the macberry theme and brushed metal theme from millenia studios. They don't show up in the Themes menu but they do show up in the applications menu. I'm not able to activate them from the applications menu... any ideas on that?

My other problem is with the extra mailbox on the home screen. It is a mailbox for one of my e-mail accounts, but that account is also still included in the main messages mailbox. I don't need this extra mailbox and I'm getting tired of having to delete duplicate messages.

Normally, if you resend the service books for your email accounts, that will eliminate the issue. You can even delete them from your handheld first.
