Default BB 7290 MAJOR Issues

Please Login to Remove!

Hey Everyone,
Hopefully you guys can hand me a helping hand. I have a 7290 which I had for about 11 months no problems. All of a sudden I was getting major issues Cingular sent me a "new" one last week. Guess what the same problems that I had with my first one started again on this one. I didn't change the battery or sim card. So what do I do next, I call them get another replacement unit which arrives today and go to a store get a new battery and sim card. I have yet to activate my enterprise server and guess what ERRORS AGAIN! This thing hasn't even been on for 4 hours and I am back to square one. I have removed the sim card and I think the problem lies in Cingular's service.

Without the sim card installed, if I press the letter B the unit restarts this was happening to me before when the sim card was in. Also the unit sometimes shows that the battery is near death, shuts off and then shows that it is full.

HELLPPPPP!!!!

It would be helpful if you provided the errors you are getting. (other than 411)

Did you replace the sim card? I have seen defective/flakey SIM cards.

Please provide a few more details on the exact problems you are having and list the errors you are getting as well.

Thanks.

Cingular definetly must be pushing some bad data to me, when the radio is off berry works fine.

You might want to try an OS reload to the latest version and select NOT to backup and restore data. Try a complete security wipe before the OS install as well.
