Default How do I leave my home screen free of icons?

Please Login to Remove!

I just want a clean uncluttered homepage. Just the wall paper with maybe the time and signal strength. Thanks.
I have a 7105t btw.

Since this is your first post I am not sure how much you know about the Blackberry OS. If you have the 7105t, you are most likely running handheld device OS 4.0. Your question can be answered in two parts.

One, you need to upgrade the OS to 4.1. You can do so by searching the forum for "Hong Kong CSL." This will show you how to upgrade to 4.1.

Two, once you have 4.1 running, you can utilize the threads in the "Themes, ringtones, wallpapers" section of the forum. There you will find how to create themes yourself (using transparent icons) or download themes other users have created.

If you are running OS 4.0, there is no way to make the icons transparent.

Hope this helps.

You can click Alt+Trackwheel to do the magic but there are certain icons that you WILL NOT be able to hide (power, Phone/Radio)

This is true, but on the flip side if you are using this method to hide all the icons that you can possibly hide, you would have to click Alt + Trackweel and then click "Show all" to unhide them for you to use.

For example, if you hide your "Mail" icon (or Phone icon or something you would use regularly) you would have to do the Alt+Trackwheel and click "Show all" everytime you wanted access to that item.
