Going to swap out a bad unit...

If i use Desktop manager on my work comupter to back up my phone

THen when i get a new one will it all go back to the phone? Easy to do? I'm on a BES at work.....

ALso... new phone means new PIN?

It shouldn't be a problem to back up the old and restore to the new, as long as it is properly recognized by the DT software.

and new phone = new pin. Shouldn't be a prob when you go thru the recognition process.

Check with your BES admin. If your using BES 4.0 with everything syncing wirelessly, all your data may already backed up on the server. That is the way it is at my employeer.

I dont deal with my IT dept.. lol

I installed the sortware.. asked them to put me on the BES system... then the phone worked

they take to long!
