Default OZ Instant Messaging is actually working quite well for me

Please Login to Remove!

Even though I wish it was packet data based, I'm honestly having better success with the 8700 version of T-Mobile Instant Messaging than I did with Ramble.

The thing obeys my profiles, is loud enough to hear, and is seeming to be fairly reliable. The icon sucks though. LOL

How did you get past the 20% Sending Requesto to Yahoo?
After downloading, I reset the 8700c, (remove batt) and it is still stuck on 20%

I'm not using Yahoo, just AIM, so I can't help much there... sorry.

One thing I did have to do was re-register with the network by going into HRT and re-registering.

Never mind!
I aborted the Yahoo sign-on and started a new one with success.
Success with AOL & MSN as well.

Thanks.

Yep, SMS to SMS.

Thing is.. T-Mo unlimited data INCLUDES unlimited SMS, so it should be no problem, nay?

AFAIK, only the data plans that are bundled w/ voice plans have the unlimited SMS. If you just sign up for the regular T-Mobile unlimited data plan, it does not come with unlimited SMS.

Correct.

Red face

This is my first post...please be nice.

I just received my new T-mo 8700...Downloaded OZ and have successfully connected with AIM, MSN & Yahoo Messengers. The issue I'm having is that I can only have one messenger running at a time...I can't figure out how to log into another messenger with one already running...

Please help!! Other than that...I'm loving the 8700!!!

Thanks!
