Ok...I'm about to get my 1st BB. I'm waiting for the 8700 on T-Mobile (as I'm planning to switch to them).

Q. Are all 8700s the same other than color? No buttons or anything physical is different such that one case wouldn't work, correct?

Can some of you good people post links to different cases? I've seen some threads that pointed to other threads saying this is the best case of that is the best case.

Please, just post links to the different cases available and/or a place that carries most types. I'd like to look through them.

I have certain requirements...so what one person thinks is the best case might not be the best for me.

Basic Requirements
I want a hard case.
I have some hearing trouble, so speaker can not be covered in ANY way.
Needs to be light.
Needs to cover all buttons as I usually jam in my pocket and buttons get mashed by accident.

Hard case that's light? Kind of an oxymoron.

You can always lock the keypad before putting the device in your pocket.

A search for just "case" will turn up many of them.

I realize there are a lot of threads on cases...but many of the ones I saw seemed to be geared toward a particular type. I was hoping to get people to post ALL TYPES of cases here so they were all in one place.


I didn't realize you could lock the keypad. Does that include all buttons? Like the side buttons too?

Yes, locking the keypad locks everything.

As for cases.

These threads, and the others like it are devoted to specific cases for the 8700.
