Anyway, we'll see how it does in the long run...

The color scheme was picked for her. The colors here are fairly accurate. It's orange and a chocolate-y brown.

Those are good pictures. I was wondering how the flip case would fit the 8700c.

Any complaints?

She says that you get less range of motion on the wheel. It's also trickier to take a quick look at the screen to see who is calling.

How about the plastic rubbing against her cheeck? I always hate that in a flip-style case.

I just ordered the R1052. I am not a big "flap" fan.

It's a little awkward. It can either dangle there or you can hold it against the back of the case if your hands aren't too small.

I haven't heard of any complaints about the plastic screen protector but does have a very slight lip at the bottom...

I have had mine now for two weeks (all black outside and camel on the inside) and, yes, the flap is a pain in the arse when on the phone. However, I am getting better at quickly doing a reverse magnetic clip whilst answering the phone. The plastic clear-vue display cover does result in slightly more glare. But recall that I have InvisibleShield on my 8700c, so double the coverage might cause more glare in any event.

I love the case. Highly recommended!!

Just an FYI.

I received the replacemet RI051 case from Vaja.

It's literally the exact same case as the RI052. They simply add/sew the flip cover to the top.

Now we need Vaja to produce a case that accomodates the extended battery fat cover.

I'll post my new 8700g w/ my Vaja later today or tomorrow - but one thing I noticed that I didn't before is how the escape button is blocked. Weird. Instead they have that translucent thingie covering it.

One thing that I have noticed....it kind of chewed up the sides of my invisible sheild screen cover. The culprit....the stitching on the sides of the cases screen display cut-out. No big deal....mine is still really tight so maybe it will get better with time.

The side convenience key is also covered.
