Default Photo Caller ID ? ?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, I did a search on Handago and came up with a product called Photo Contacts for the Pocket PC, which looks great, but I can't find a similar product for the Blackberry?

Has anyone found something like this? I want to be able to have a photo of my contacts appear when that contact calls.

I am also a software developer, and would be interested in developing software that would do this... if someone could reccomend a software suite that would enable me to do this, that would also be helpful.

Thank you!

Brett

Notifire Professional is the only I know that does this, and it may be for email and not phone. I can't remember.

It would be more of a pain than the worth if you ask me. Since there is no camera on the BB, there would be no quick way to apply pics to a contact if the function did exsist.

However, one day RIM may include some model BB's with cameras or the same model with and without the camera feature. Only then would I imagine that feature would become available in the OS

Ya I agree.

I have a 7130e which has a built in photo album though, so it should be possible.

the majority of my interest right now is to develop it myself, just as something to play around with.

Is there free software to do this or do you have to purchase an SDK from Blackberry ?

still interested in a downloadable version as well if anyone comes across something
