Default Full Image option for 7290

Please Login to Remove!

Currently we are using a lot of 7290's at our office. But we have some problems with them. Images cannot be displayed as full image, they will always be compressed which results in a non readable image.

A few weeks ago I tested the new 8700. With this blackberry it's possible to use the Full Image option when you want to read your *.tif attachment. Then the picture will not be compressed, so it's readable.

I discovered that this blackberry is using firmwareversion Probably when this version is available for a 7290, this blackberry can also use that full image option.

So, is this firmwareupgrade ( also available for the 7290?

I allready checked at, but they don't have it for this model.

Hong Kong CSL 4.1 is available. I am using it. I have only had to reinstall 2 software apps that had seperate versions for 4.1. Unfortunately I don't have any large pictures to test it with.

CSL - 7290 and 7100

That link is for the 4.1 thread
