Is there a way to turn off email from being sent to the blackberry, like when I am at work and don't need them to go there?

Default YES, but...

Yes,

Mailbox - options - email reconciliation and turn wireless reconcile off.

This will work if you are on a BES, but I would not recomend it. Your device will have to play catch up with the BES later on.

Why not just set your profile to one that does not notify you of mails while you are at work.

I am not on BES, I have it set up to a URL where I retieve email from off-site. Where on profile does it give an option to not notify you of emails?

If you are working through BIS ( blackberry internet service) which it sounds like you are, then you shouldn;t have a problem, if your corporate server is a pop server, after outlook downloads your e-mail unless you have "leave a copy on server" checked in outlook options, you will only get e-mail on your blackberry when your desktop outlook is closed i.e. your not at work. let mw know if this not how you have it setup...
