Lightbulb Aftermath of punting your BB. The Conclusion...

Please Login to Remove!

Meh, I say.

Well, I have found out why I had made a field goal with my BB a few weeks ago. And well, today, one of my clips magically 'diasappeared'.

So I have decided to make use out of my plastic holster.
OUT WITH THE BELT CLIP AND INTO MY POCKET!!!!!!!

I shall rename my new invention...

"POCKET HOLSTER for 8700x"
"Hello everyone! Come and try the new crap-o-matic Pocket Holster! It is designed to give you complete comfort in... You guessed it! Your pockets! No belt clip! It sleeps! It protects your screens! It will make your security clips randomly 'disappear'! And best of all...! This product is absolutley FREE with most purchases of any BB 8700X model!!!! Yes my friends, with a little creativity, aggrevation and boredom! You too can have the new crap-o-matic POCKEEEEEET HOLLLLLLLLSTERRRR!"

-Brought to you by Rudy Inc. Creators of useful ideas of crap...

The same thing happened to mine and my buddie's holsters. Great idea of taking off the back clip though. I work at Applebee's and keep it in my pocket while I'm working and the bulge that the clip has is uncomfortable. So I thin I might 'bite' your idea and do the same thing.

Wow, that is a good idea! I definitely don't want to be punting my 8700 around :D

I did the same thing to mine and while I was at it, broke off the other tab. I think it's going to work perfect while at work.

breaking off one of the tabs kept causing mine to fall out of the holster.

i finally dropped it under a car in the parking lot and had to fish it out on a rainy day.

the thing still works!

but I did get a new holster lol

I have a Fortte vertical pouch which is OK if a bit crude, but every time I sit down, the beltclip release button gets triggered without my knowledge, so every time I get up the phone falls on the floor, road, etc. Sure it's still in its case but I didn't buy the upgraded case just to protect the phone from the case's latent defect. If I had a monster pot belly I'd understand how it gets triggered but as is I am mystified! Now I just keep the 8700 in the case but don't use the stupid clip...

alphasports I Hear You Loud And Clear! I have had that happen a few times as well. And... no pot belly. It just happens to get unlocked from the clip when sitting down... Meh, what can you do.
But I did hear from Salo the other day and the boy is going to help me get a new one!

Customer service at it's finest. I think I will have to order another case or two from them in the near future...
