Default Flashing yellow LED while off and charging

Please Login to Remove!

What does the flashing yellow/orange LED mean? Is there something wrong, or is this normal. My 8700c is off and charging.

just means that it is charging

you only have to worry when it stops flashing!!!!

As it happens I think it only flashes when the battery condition is/was very low. Mine flashed during its first charge and never has since. But the battery hasn't yet been below ~70% before a top up...

Color Description
Green The 7100g is in an area of wireless coverage.
Red A new message has arrived.
Amber The battery is low.
Blue The 7100g is connected to a Bluetooth device.


for the 7100, but should be the same for a 8700
