I'm happy to hear it. As much as I like my 8700, I like my 7100 just as much. I have always thought that the Verizon 7130 was very cool looking so I guess I will be the proud owner of 3 BB's soon.

Unhappy When will 8700 come to Verizon

As a full QWERTY user for almost 2 years, I am awaiting the opposite, Verizon launching the 8700

I am getting used to the 7130, great improvement over 7750, but still not as welcome a device w/o the full QWERTY. Would have switched our company to Cingular but coverage in our rural area of Ga. is almost non-existent with Cingular.

Was an 8 year Cingular customer before switching to Verizon. I have the 7130e, and this Cingular model, if it is the one, doesn't appear to be anything cosmetically to the 7130e. I could write a book on the "customer service" from Cingular, but will leave it alone.

I'd probably buy one. The 7100 form factor is nice sometimes.

I agree. Nice to have phone that feels like a phone sometimes. and I actually like sure-type.

I'm probably going to buy one too.

I was at a show the other day and the man sitting next to me pulled out his 7130e and I starred in awe of how small it looked compared to the 8700. I know it's not really that much smaller but it sure looked nice.

I'm just not sure about the keyboard. I think I do about 60% reading of e-mail and 40% of replying and messaging so I'm not sure it would be that big a deal but it does have me worried a bit.

I've been messaging a lot more since getting my 8700, so I would miss that. 7130 would be a weekend device for me if I buy it.
