Question Setup to receive attachements

Please Login to Remove!

Hi

we have some New 8700g blackberrys, but we would like to know what we need to do to be able to receive Email attachments PDF's etc, cant seem to find anything on the blackberry or the BES can some one help? do we need another bit of software to be able to do this? thanks kelly

You should be able to open them with your blackberry now. When you get a email with a PDF, Word, Pic etc, you just open the email, go to "open Attachment", and then go to "Full Content" and it should load op whenever your attachment is..

Hi thanks for your help, we can open attachments now, but we just can open PDF attachements, any ideas?

Are they scanned in pdf's if so, I don't believe that they can be opened without a 3rd party app.

Hi thanks for your reply, no there not scanned, made a new small test PDF to see if it would open it, but it did open but couldnt read what was on the screen!! gobbli Gook...

PDFs are almost always a problem on the Blackberry. It "opens" them but what you get isn't worth the download data used.
As suggested above, if this is important to you the solution is to subscibe to a third party service that converts the PDF to a readable format for your Blackberry. You can find some on Handango:
