| Verichat now works for me Please Login to Remove! I've been having the same problem as the rest of you apparently. After several calls to tech support, I finally got someone knowledgeable enough to understand what ports are and he admitted that T-Mobile was indeed blocking them. No ETA as to what was going to be done, if anything. I verified that I had the 19.99 Blackberry unlimited plan, and...doesn't unlimited mean unlimited? I understand shutting down the folks who were getting "something for nothing", but I'm a paying customer!!
Miraculously, after hanging up the phone with the support rep last night I changed the wap address to wap.voicestream.com like I had many times before in an attempt to get Verichat to work and IT ACTUALLY LOGGED IN! The user name / pass combo was blank. Something had to have changed on their end for certain. I was told they couldn't do a thing.
RIM, if you are listening and ever check these posts...T-Mobile is crippling your users and developers. Why would a developer write anything for a BlackBerry when a fair percentage of the users will never be able to use their wares and therefore had no incentive to puchase them?
Now if I could only get the weather to work in BBToday I'd be happy.... |
