Default question about blackberry 8700c ramble IM app

Please Login to Remove!

hey guys, I'm a brand new blackberry user and as a result a new member on this site, so greetings!

so I downloaded ramble IM and google talk onto my device...and although this may have been answered already (my attempt at avoiding being flamed) I just wanted to make sure that messages sent through these apps are part of the data plan and not sms service...am I correct in my assumption?

Thanks!

Google Talk is part uses the data plan. I don't use Ramble so I am not sure about that one.

Ramble should be covered under your data plan. Any extra charges should be refuted

They can be charged to you, but you can get them taken off. It uses WAP so it can be charged for it.

Well....that ones still up in the air. Some people have been charged. Others like me, have not.
