I have done many searches befor I listed this topic.
I was wandering if there was a way to load different wallpapers and ringtones from either the blackberry desktop manager, Or another way that I dont know of. I do not pay for the web service and I dont want to get charged the text fee for sending it to my phone. Does anyone know of a way to do this?
You click on the ringtone and it should bring it up in the respected player. Go to the "playlist" button, click the trackwheel (left arrow on the computer), and select save. It should bring up a window confirming the save location, select OK. Then if you go to your ringtones it should be listed.
And that's what it says when you go to Start>Program>Research In Motion>BlackBerry JDE 4.1.0>MDS? If so, that's strange. I'm pretty sure the MDS simulator installs with the JDE by default. Now, I *don't* think it just comes with the simulator by itself. Maybe install the full JDE again?
i got it working now i just have the fun of trying to upload music to a website to download it any suggestions on that? as for how i fixed the issue i was downloading the component package instead of the correct one(the one right below it)
