Default Wallpapers and Rigtones With No Browser

I have done many searches befor I listed this topic.

I was wandering if there was a way to load different wallpapers and ringtones from either the blackberry desktop manager, Or another way that I dont know of. I do not pay for the web service and I dont want to get charged the text fee for sending it to my phone. Does anyone know of a way to do this?

Thanks

You click on the ringtone and it should bring it up in the respected player. Go to the "playlist" button, click the trackwheel (left arrow on the computer), and select save. It should bring up a window confirming the save location, select OK. Then if you go to your ringtones it should be listed.

What files does it say you are missing? The MDS Simulator MUST be running before you try to go "online" with your simulated BlackBerry.

the working directory for the MDS does not exist C:\program files\research in motion\blackberry JDE component package 4.1.0\bin\..\MDS

thats what it says i probably missed a program somewhere...

And that's what it says when you go to Start>Program>Research In Motion>BlackBerry JDE 4.1.0>MDS? If so, that's strange. I'm pretty sure the MDS simulator installs with the JDE by default. Now, I *don't* think it just comes with the simulator by itself. Maybe install the full JDE again?

Yes that should be it. The file you download should be BlackBerry_JDE_4[1].1.0.exe. I dont think the MDS Sim is available for seperate download.

Look in the "Ringtones, Themes and Wallpaper Discussion" forum, I believe there are some places posted there that you can upload to and then download from. Glad you got it working.
