Default Flip cases: Krusell vs "Custom" eAccess

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all, I am very new to the BB world and am really glad to have found this place, it's such a wealth of information! Anyway, I am in the process of accessorizing

I am looking for a flip case - I used to have one for my Palm and really liked it. I don't want to have to take my bb in and out of the case every time I use it.

I have read a lot of good things here about Krusell as well as Fortte, which both make flip cases for the 8700. However, I was wondering if anyone here has ever used any of eAccess's custom cases? The one feature I like about their case that the Krusell doesn't have is the magnetic snap closure. But how is the quality?

Here is the link: oops, I'm not allowed to post a link. Oh well, if you go to eAccess's website, you can look up the "Custom 8700 Flip Case", that is the one.

thanks for any info,

NatalieM

Check out senacases.com also for a good quality flip style case. I'm happy with mine - it's slim and protective.

You're probably referring to this one:

Would you say it looks strikingly similar to this one:

http://www.fortte.com/scr/details-10...DA%20Case.html

I believe the eAccess cases are Fortte cases, just with the eAccess name on the front. You're paying more by ordering through Fortte, but you can truly customize your order with a choice of leather, clip, and even have the cover blank or personalized with your name/etc. rather than the basic black eAccess version. $15 would be well worth making it truly yours, if you so choose.

I had a Krussel case for my old iPAQ and it's a nice, quality case, but I personally dislike flip-style cases and think a magnetic closure would be more convenient than a snap like on the Krussel.

You're right, I also thought it looked quite a lot like the Fortte. I am not really interested in the custom features, I was just hoping for Fortte quality in a more economical package. I think I will take my chances - if it weren't for the magnetic closure, I would go for the Krusell.

cheers,

Natalie
