Default Different aliases for diff. email accounts?

Please Login to Remove!

I got the 7130E from Bell...must say...I'm frustrated by this counter-intuitive device...guess i've been spoiled by pocketpc's all my life...email works great tho...

Question:

If I setup 2 email accounts, can I have different outgoing email aliases for each?
Also, how do I change APN settings?

Hi. You should be able to set up friendly names for your email addresses thru your carrier's BB Web Client site or on E-Mail Setup on your phone. Those names will show up instead of your email addresses. I don't know APN settings for any carrier other than T-Mobile, but someone else might be able to help. Welcome to the BlackBerry world. We're here to help.

Wirelessly posted (Why Am I Mr. Pink?: Mozilla/5.0 (SymbianOS/9.1; U; en-us) AppleWebKit/413 (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/413)

You cant change the APN of the device thats why we have the bb data specific plan vm allow access. pink

No need for BBreply with verizon's BIS 2.0. The new BIS allows TRUE "FROM:" field spoofing, unlike BBreply which just adds a "Repy To": field. Upgrade your BIS now.

Does Cingular have the feature which allows you to have true multiple choices in your "From:" field?

Cingular's BIS update is coming. We are hoping for April but it may be later. No other way to change the from field for now FROM the BB. Only the reply to field with bbReply. You can change the FROM field on the Cingular BIS for now.

Great news.

Will that require putting new software on the Blackberry or the Desktop or both? (or neither?)
