Default AvantGo on 8700c via Mac

I am trying to put AvantGo onto my BB 8700c via my Mac. Neither Cingular nor AvantGo can explain how to do it - has anyone successfully accomplished this? I am running OSX Tiger and I have downloaded The Missing Sync and PocketMac. If this cannot work, I'd love a recommendation of some kind of alternative to AvantGo or Vindigo (which I realize won't work on the BB)... Any ideas?

The Avantgo software does nothing more than open your browser and point it to: Just open the BB browser and point it to that website and you can log in without needing to install the software via the Desktop Manager (which isn't Mac yet).

Hope this helps...

Well, if you download the avantgo package, you'll get the avantgo.alx XML file but ya, it's just a launcher to the avantgo site.
