I dont think that the desktop redirector does anything but re-direct the mail. And, you have to keep your PC running all the time.
I use a program called Mail Redirect to redirect our work email to our Blackberry devices. We intalled the software on a stand-alone PC. The users then get their mail almost immediately....
As far as syncing the mail messages when connected, that doesnt work with Blackberry devices.

So, I was under the impression that when I send an email from my Blackberry, I can synch it with my Outlook later and my Sent Folder gets updated. And now you're telling me that it doesn't work this way! I'm very disappointed.
