Default 8700c on T-Mobile with T-Zones

Please Login to Remove!

I just unlocked an 8700c and I want to use my BB with my T-Mobile Web plan. I do not want to add a BB data plan to me account. I have been looking everywhere for the settings and a process to do this, but I don't seem to have all the pieces. Can anyone help or steer me?

It can not be done.

Without a BlackBerry Data Plan, you can not get your BB to do anything except voice and data.

I'll steer you to add a BB Data Plan...

I'll be happy with data. I just want to be able to get to the web. From there I can do what I need. I don't need push email.

Sorry to ask the obvious here, but why go through all the trouble of getting an expensive BlackBerry and spending more to get it unlocked when there are a lot of good devices out there that will do T-Mo web?

OK - without a BlackBerry Data Plan all you can do is voice and text messaging. No Internet.

So there is no way to configure a browser to use the T-Web settings to get out on the WWW? I have the Opera beta browser installed, but it doesn't have any configuration variables. There's gotta be a way.....

You can try to add the WAP for $5.99 a month but I'm not sure if that works....

I have the WAP. I was using the T-Web on my Motorola 400 till the BB fell into my hands. And before that it worked great on my MPX200. I don't see where on the BB that I can put in the WAP settings, like on the other 2 phones.

Check out other threads asking the same question and you will discover that a BB without a BB data plan is just a phone with the added capability of SMS messaging, period.

Post count doesn't matter (much) - I've answered this soooo many times before. It is what it is.

But I do know you have a wealth of knowledge. I've read quite a bit of your post out on HOFO.
