Default 8700 Disassembly

Followed tgray's prior post and opened up the case tonight, in an attempt to line-up the screen to square up with the case front opening. After disassemby, found out that it's not the screen that is screwed on less than level, but the Cingular outer case's screen opening is not quite cut square. The black strip which the logo falls on is painted at a slight angle downward, so I see more bottom of the screen on the right than on the left side, geez.

Will wait for aftermarket housing and hope the workmanship is better.

Really? Wow, I figured it would be the display itself that was crooked....go figure!
